MONTREAL-ICP Solar Technologies Inc. , a developer, manufacturer and marketer of proprietary solar panels and products, recently announced that the Company has reached an agreement with Integrated Metering Systems of Largo, Florida to market the GreenMeter? in North America in conjunction with IMS technology ? providing an accurate, reliable means for net metering. IMS has been manufacturing electric submeters since 1989 for a variety of applications.
Through this agreement, ICP Solar?s GreenMeter? will be able to integrate with IMS kWh Meters and allow for a more precise reading of electricity consumption and production ? meeting or exceeding requirements for revenue grade monitoring or solar subsidy programs worldwide. Sales of the combined system are expected to begin later this quarter.
